Monitoring
Traditional Protection
Traditional protection with digital dialer enabled panels provides
the first level of monitoring for most systems. Our receivers are
compatible with all major transmission formats for burglar, medical
and fire panels, so no matter which panel you choose we have a solution
to fit your needs. Our Central Station is UL and FM listed offering a
premium level of protection for all of your customers including those
with the highest security requirements. We can monitor any array of
commercial properties including farms, industrial processes, manufacturing plants,
schools, retail stores, banks, elevators and more.
For a full list of available formats, please refer to our compatibility list.
2-Way Voice
Two way voice monitoring allows two-way communication with our
central station through your customers' alarm system. With two-way
voice, your clients can provide important information to our
operators from anywhere in their homes or businesses without having
to locate a phone.
Elevator Monitoring
Utilizing an elevator panel which can send a digital signal in addition to
opening a voice channel offers the most superior level of protection for
elevator customers. Even when the power is out and the elevator is dark,
or a sight impaired user would not be able to read an elevator plaque, we
will receive an identifying signal from the elevator panel, so that the
correct authorities can be dispatched to the elevator location and take
care of the situation. 2-Way communications modes enable our operators to
converse with the occupants of the elevator car.
Dual Path Communicators
The latest generation of communications products offer dual path signalling
using a combination device capable of reporting with IP over the internet
in addition to wireless using the digital cellular networks. These devices
offer the speed, reliability and security of two digital communications paths
IP (Internet) Communicators
IP monitoring allows alarm signals to be transmitted over the internet as
well as over private networks, enabling you to support customers who have
switched to broadband or digital cable telephone service rather than traditional
(pots) telephone lines.
For a full list of available IP formats, please refer to our compatibility list.
Wireless Communicators
Often referred to as backup communications devices, the latest offerings of
GSM, GPRS, Cellular and Long range radio systems can also be used as primary
communications systems. These systems can protect the security of your clients'
homes or businesses in the event of a telephone or broadband internet service
disruption. Security Central maintains separate receivers for GSM, Cellular
and Radio communications, ensuring that backup communications are available
at all times.
For a full list of available systems, please refer to our compatibility list.
Video Verification
Our video monitoring services enable you to provide clients with visual verification
of events that trigger alarms. In addition to the standard digital signal, our central
station can receive or view video showing the event which activated the alarm.
Details of what caused an alarm to trip are used by special services operators to
dispatch the appropriate authorities and provide additional information if needed. In
addition, your clients can set specific criteria to modify dispatches based on what
events are viewed.

Dealer Web Access
The Security Central Access Network (SCAN) enables dealers to view and report on their
customers' accounts using a standard web browser or PDA. Reports can be generated on-line
and can also be emailed to the dealers office, or to end users. Dealers are able to enter
new accounts, file changes to existing accounts, and to cancel accounts using our SCAN
web interface. A dealer resource library is also provided, enabling dealers access to
information regarding their systems and procedures for working with us.
Subscriber Web
Subscriber web access allows end-users to view and report on their accounts. Reports
can be generated on-line and can also be emailed to any recipient. Chain accounts holders
can use the system to gain access to a group of accounts, and can report on any of those
accounts using the web client interface.
Rotating Call lists
Rotating call lists allow subscribers to specify a rotation of the people on their call
list based upon a schedule. Each time the schedule updates, the people on the call list rotate.
Dealer Notification
Dealer notification of alarm events can be utilized to offer pro-active services for
subscribers. Dealers can be notified by pager, email, or text message on all alarm events,
or a selection of event types that are important to them.
Subscriber Notification
Subscriber notification can be utilized to keep subscribers informed of the status of their
alarm system. Pre defined events can be reported to subscribers by email, or text message.
Scheduled Reporting
Dealers are able to request scheduled reports for any type of alarm event, or all events
that occur for their subscribers. Groups of subscribers can be contained on individual
reports. Any reporting frequency is available. Scheduled reports can be delivered by
facsimile, or email.
