Job Description:

The LMS Coordinator will support Security Central in the administration of our learning management system (LMS) and the production of live virtual training sessions.  A successful candidate will have a record of accomplishment in uploading LMS content, managing end-to-end processes for the platform, and acting as a producer for virtual instructor-led sessions.

The LMS Coordinator will work closely with leaders from the Help Desk, Training, and Research and Development to ensure client administrators, trainers, and learners have a seamless experience when engaging with Security Central’s LMS.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the learning management system (LMS), Adobe Captivate Prime.
• Audit and monitor data integrity within the LMS.
• Upload content (e-learning, microlearning, virtual sessions, etc.).
• Manage and create customized and standard learning paths.
• Upload and manage users.
• Troubleshoot access issues with LMS.
• Create content in Adobe Captivate for use in the LMS.
• Provide technical support and produce virtual instructor-led sessions.
• Facilitate end-user training for trainers of Adobe Captivate Prime and Adobe Captivate.
• Communicate cross-functionally with the Helpdesk, Training, and Research and Development teams.
• Assess employee training and verify that employees complete training within appointed time frames.
• Inform managers of any training default and work with managers to plan restorative action.
• Assist managers and supervisors in creating reports from the LMS system.
• Deliver certificates to participators for attending and completing a course.
• Establish support for specific customer services.
• Document processes and provide internal training as necessary.
• Follows established company guidelines, processes, procedures, and standards.
• Achieve alternative associated duties and tasks as designated or as become perceptible.

Qualifications:

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must reside in surrounding areas of Knoxville, TN
• Must pass drug screen
• Must have clean background to obtain industry required Alarm Registrant Permit.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience as a virtual producer preferred.
• Experience with adult learning preferred.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to communicate effectively and clearly in verbal and written forms.
• Able to work on a flexible schedule and provide off-hours support if required.
• Problem solver with the ability to apply logic and reasoning skills to work through complex issues.
• Ambitious and willing to learn if there are knowledge gaps.
• Experience with using Microsoft products, including PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel, etc.
• Experience with Adobe Captivate Prime and Adobe Captivate is a plus.
• The ability to adapt and handle multiple projects with different priority levels.
• A strong familiarity with recognized E-learning technical standards.
• Some travel is required between NC and TN offices (up to 20% of the time).
